Have you been curious about
meditation but don't really know how it's done? Have you tried it but not
had the support of a group practice to help sustain it?
In this Yoga & Meditation class, we will practice yoga as Yogi's have done
for five thousand years -- and for its original purpose --
as a preparation for meditation.
We will then learn and practice meditation techniques for quieting the mind,
calming the nervous system and opening the heart.
Meditation is unparalleled in its ability to help us:
Y
Gain inner freedom from suffering and pain
Y
Gain clarity, insight and awareness of our behavioral patterns and identity
issues
Y
Open our hearts to ourself, others and existence with compassion and love
Y
Experience equanimity, peace, contentment and joy
This class will be added to our
regular group class schedule for the May-June session. The first class
will be held on April 28.
If you are interested in trying this new class, please contact Toni.
